The Louvre puts exhibition of 840,000 works online

The French museum Louvre is closed due to the pandemic and is being renovated at the same time, but from now on anyone interested can view the works online, which would otherwise only be visible in the museum.

The Louvre has digitized over 840,000 works and placed them on their newly launched online platform. The online platform is completely free. So anyone who can now view the exhibits in-person due to the pandemic can still enjoy them. Among the works are famous works, such as the “Mona Lisa” to numerous other paintings, drawings, engravings and sculptures. In addition, objects from the Jardin des Tuileries are also on display.
